Start a Home Remodel

You usually can work year round in a single family home with no restrictions, but check with your community's HOA.

Permits are required to do any construction work and it can take anywhere from 30 to 90 days once submitted.

Depending on the size of the project 3-9 months of construction is a good time estimate for completion. The Design and planning stage depends on the size of project as well typically ranging from 2-6 months.

Start a Condo Remodel

Condos have specific time frames for when construction can take place, usually between May 1 through October 31st, known as "Condo Working Season".

Permits are required to do any construction work and it can take anywhere from 30 to 90 days once submitted.

September through February is the best time for designing your project.

Depending on the size of the project, a small bathroom or kitchen could take 3 to 5 months, but if you have a larger remodel it could take 9 months, which makes it a 2 "season" project.

Knowing your time line will help you determine when you should start planning, i.e.: if you want your project to be completed by the end of October 2025 then planning and designing should take place around September 2024.
